Free Computer Consultant Tip-Of-The-Week for November 21,
2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Last week I included a link to the easy to use spware
cleaning
software Spyware Doctor. Unfortunately, it was pointed out to
me
that I omitted the link for the free scan. Let's fix that
first:
Spyware Doctor f~r~e~e scan link

When you click this link it will prompt you to save a file.
That's
ok. Save it to the desktop and then double click to install
the
software. If you don't like it simply uninstall it.
I also forgot to mention that the 20% discount was only
supposed
to be good for a week, but I think it still works, not sure
for
how long.
Here's the link for the 20% discount:

Sorry about that omission.
Now on to today's program!
Some of the most popular videos I have on the internet have
to do
with wireless routers and networking. And I get lots of
questions
emailed to me (which I now have started directing to my
support
forum).
So I thought maybe I should highlight a program that makes
networking
easy, even if you are mixing Windows XP, Vista and Mac.
This program has been around for a while, but recently was
bought by
networking behemoth Cisco, the same guys that gobbled up
LinkSys -
makers of easy to use network hardware.
The program is called Network Magic. And yes, they have a
free trial.
Before I forget, here is the link for the free trial:
http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=1nf9NkSTTNY&offerid=117840.10000004&type=1&subid=0
Network Magic is a program that prevents you having to call
your
brother-in-law or a friend who will expect copious amounts of
free
beverages for helping you.
You can connect a PC to a router, wireless or otherwise, to
each other;
share files and printers - and here maybe is the bonus you were
looking
for - do it securely.
Since I think a least a few of you will want to buy this I
also want
to include this link that shows up with a 20% savings
offered.
http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=1nf9NkSTTNY&offerid=117840.10000024&type=3&subid=0
Use coupon code: NMEasy
Not that I don't like hearing from you and helping you
overcome your
networking problems; it's just that it might be quicker to be
able to
do it yourself.
Until next time...
