"Do You Need A Cure For A Slow PC?"

Every week I have someone approach me about getting a new computer
because their old one is slow.

What really makes me bite my tongue is when they show me an ad for
a new (cheap) PC that has less horsepower than the one they have.

Typically, the slow PC is only 2 years old. But they've poluted it
with so much crap that it barely moves.

There are a lot of products out there that claim to speed up a slow
PC. Some work, some don't. Some are free, others aren't.

Since I try to take care of the computers around me, and usually
do a full, clean, Windows reinstall every couple of years on the PCs
that I use, I really don't have good machines to try out PC speed up
software on.

One new program out that shows some promise is Slow PC Fighter.

Slow PC Fighter has a free scan, and will fix up to 25 problems
for f-r*e-e.

Here's the thing, though. It's likely Slow PC Fighter will find
THOUSANDS of problems in the registry alone.

The Windows registry is a maze of seemingly useless entries. And
I'm not sure there is a program out there that will uninstall itself
properly and remove all vestiges of itself from the registry.

This leftover trash is what registry cleaners try to remove (among
other issues).

Problem is, as the registry grows with all of this garbage, your
Windows PC will slow down. Windows has to load the registry before
it even lets you log on and start work. (The bigger the registry,
the longer it takes!)

Now, there are TONS of registry cleaners out there;
