Software - Step by Step

Easy Photo Recovery software operates via a 9 step wizard, but don't freak out yet! Most of those steps just involve clicking next, there's hardly any decision making to be done. Start the Wizard

Click "Next"

Click on the Media where the data to be recovered exists; in this case, drive E: is a Secure Digital Disk (SD Disk) that is corrupted.
Then click "Next"

Photo file types are selected by default (the contents of the window is not completely shown), select any others you might need to look for - in most cases the default is probably fine.
Click "Next"

Scan entire drive. Takes longer, buy this is probably what you want unless you are just trying to undelete files.

Click "Next"

The default location for the recovered files is "My Documents", change if you like. I checked the box to keep the folder structure intact. This can help if there might be duplicate file names recovered such as Image001.jpg.
Click "Next"

"Start" seems to go on its own, click again if you like.

Click "Next"

These were the easy ones to find. Highlight, Preview and Recover if necessary.

Click "Next"

These were recovered the hard way; took about 10 minutes.

Click "Next"

Highlight, Preview then recover the ones you want.

Click "Next"

All finished!
