Christmas - The Season of
Electronics
Merry Christmas Everyone! (Oh yes, happy Hanukkah and isn't
there another one too?)
What I do know is that this is the season of electronics,
and unless you are trying to buy a PS3, deals abound. But buy
carefully, in fact I posted a funny video that's an antique but
still applicable today - videos
here
If you are buying a PC, don't get suckered into buying one
with Windows XP Home. Insist on XP Professional with a free
upgrade to Vista.
Buy only PC's that are fully Vista capable; not capable with
a (we'll sock it to you) upgrade.
For quick backups and transporting data, nothing beats the
USB thumb drives. Buy.com has some name brand 1GB units that
are FREE after rebate and Google checkout. See Christmas $avings
I've also heard that dealnews.com is supposed to have great
info on post-Christmas discounts early next week.
I was a little long winded last week talking about SPAM;
shorter this week in honor of the Holidays.
Look for info and a video on the new Seagate Mirra Sync and
Share Personal Server posted soon!
Hope this information is of use to you, that's it for this
week.
When was the last time you backed up YOUR
PC?
