Software - At a price you will love!

I know you all love free stuff, because my Free Tools page is one of my most popular.

So I thought you might want to be made aware of a website that gives away different software everyday.

The site is Giveaway of the Day. They offer both a software product, such as an audio or video editor and a game program each day.

The trick is, the offer is only good that day. These are products that are for sale ordinarily, but an arrangement with the seller makes it a free download for one day only. The software publisher gets great exposer, and you can view previous downloads and choose to buy them if you wish.

It's pretty much win-win for everyone.

Naturally, you can't please all the people all the time. Some days they give away screensavers and many visitors to the site think screensavers are for the last decade. To each his own. Al Gore would have us shut our PC's, or at least our monitors, off when not in use. Granted, he must not, since his mansion allegedly uses more power in one month than most homes do in a year!

But since the price is right, you may want to make a habit out of checking in briefly once per day and see if what they offer is up your alley.

By the way, you may have noticed that the FCC Site Blog is a registry of content update for the site; not my daily observations.
